Nicolaou formed Z Nico with a concentrated focus to produce “Functional Art” of unsurpassed quality for discriminating collectors that share their passion for utilitarian objects of beauty. After two years and the efforts of world-class artists and artisans, the initial “Heirloom StrongBox” designs by Z Nico are available for sale. The Eternal Guardians and Immortal Stallions are created in a collaboration by Mike Nicolaou, Ronnie Frostad, Csaba Letay and the foundry artisans of Frostad Atelier www.frostadatelier.com. Every Limited Edition Heirloom StrongBox is individually made in the USA then signed and numbered upon completion. The Z Nico and Frostad Atelier hallmarks on the bottom of each safe insure that these are the finest quality functioning bronze sculptures produced anywhere on the planet.
All Z Nico designs are intended to have a timeless and classic appearance that can be passed forward to the generations that follow. Concepts and themes are based on the mythology, folklore and history of different cultures. Images from nature, the elements, the universe and key symbolism will complete every Z Nico Heirloom StrongBox.
